Individual Therapy
This isn't your typical therapy
This work goes beyond words, beyond understanding your patterns, beyond analyzing what happened.
Because you can talk about your trauma, your anxiety, your stuck places for years – but if your body is still holding the pattern, nothing truly shifts.
Through somatic therapy, I help you access what talking alone can’t reach – the experiences and survival patterns stored in your body and nervous system.
We work with what you’re carrying, not just what you’re thinking about. And when it serves you, we weave in coaching to help you take real steps forward.
Together, you’ll become less reactive, more present and alive, and deeply connected to yourself.

Somatic Therapy
If you’ve been stuck in the same patterns for too long, feeling weighed down and disconnected from yourself, this work helps you access your body’s wisdom and find your way forward.
This is for you if:
- You’re burned out, running on empty, and need to find sustainable energy again
- Anxiety, worry, or physical tension won’t let up no matter what you try
- You feel numb or like you’ve lost touch with what makes life meaningful
- You’re navigating loss, separation, or a life transition and need grounded support
- Your relationships drain you and you can’t seem to set boundaries that hold
- You absorb everyone else’s emotions and struggle to know what’s actually yours
Â
What becomes possible: You’ll shift from feeling stuck and disconnected to feeling alive, present, and at home in your body. You’ll learn to regulate your nervous system, honor your boundaries, and reconnect with what truly matters.
Somatic TRAUMA Therapy
If you carry the effects of trauma in your body – hypervigilance, C-PTSD, emotional overwhelm, disconnection – this work helps you access what talking alone couldn’t reach.
This is for you if:
- You experienced childhood trauma, a scary event, or narcissistic abuse and your body still holds the effects
- You’re always on alert, scanning for danger, unable to relax even when you’re safe
- Part of you feels stuck in the past, reliving what happened instead of what’s here now
- Your emotional reactions feel too big and you don’t know how to regulate them
- You feel disconnected from your body, numb, or like you’re watching life from the outside
- Talk therapy helped you understand your trauma but didn’t shift what your body is holdingÂ
What becomes possible: You’ll process what your body has been carrying and learn to feel safe within yourself. You’ll move from surviving to living with more regulation, presence, and capacity for joy.

What it feels like to work with me
Every person is unique, so our work together will be tailored to you – following what emerges rather than a preset agenda.
I create a warm, empathetic space where you can explore whatever arises.
I’m here to listen deeply, offer guidance and tools when helpful, while you remain the expert on your own experience.
Together, we’ll help you reconnect with what you already carry within:
the aliveness, ease, and wholeness that’s been waiting for a safe space to emerge.

The body remembers, the bones remember, the joints remember, even the little finger remembers. Memory is lodged in pictures and feelings in the cells themselves.

What is somatic therapy?
Somatic therapy works with your body, not just your mind – because lasting change happens where your experiences are actually stored.
You might have spent years trying to think your way through – understanding why you feel anxious, why boundaries feel impossible, why the same patterns keep repeating. But understanding alone doesn’t shift anything.
That’s because these patterns live in your body, not just your thoughts. Your nervous system has learned certain responses over time, and it keeps playing them on repeat.
Somatic work helps you access and process what’s been held below conscious awareness. It’s where real, lasting change happens – the kind you can actually feel in your body, not just understand in your head.

FAQ
Questions You Might Have
How is somatic therapy different from talk therapy?
Traditional talk therapy works primarily with your thoughts and emotions through conversation. Somatic therapy includes talking, but we also work directly with what’s happening in your body – sensations, tensions, breath patterns, and the physical responses that arise.
You are ready for somatic therapy if:
- You’ve tried talk therapy but still feel stuck
- You understand why you feel or react a certain way, but can’t seem to change the pattern
- You experience anxiety, chronic tension, or feel disconnected from your body
- You sense there’s something deeper that words alone can’t reach
Â
How long does this work take?
We work at the pace of your body. This isn’t about fixing or rushing, it’s about sustainable, embodied change.
I suggest a minimum of 4 sessions for less complex issues, and at least 10 sessions for trauma work. Most clients work with me for 3+ months to create a meaningful arc of healing.
Real transformation takes time, especially with trauma and deeply rooted patterns. The biggest shifts happen when we create space and fully commit to the process.
Does somatic therapy work online?
Yes, absolutely. You’re always in your body, wherever you are.
Online sessions allow you to do this work in the comfort and safety of your own space, which can actually deepen the process. I’ll guide you to notice sensations, movements, and patterns just as I would in person.
Many clients find online work just as powerful and sometimes more accessible than in-person sessions.
Does somatic therapy involve touch?
Touch may be used with your explicit consent, but it’s not necessary for successful therapy.
In certain moments, brief therapeutic contact can offer powerful support, but we can absolutely work with your bodily experience without touch. Physical contact only happens when you understand why and how it would be used, and when you’ve given clear consent.
What methods do you use?
My work is rooted in the Hakomi Method, integrated with Somatic Experiencing®, Polyvagal Theory, and attachment-based approaches. When helpful, I weave in coaching to help you gain clarity and take practical steps forward. I can also guide you in building a personal mindfulness practice to support your healing.
How much time do I need to dedicate?
Sessions are 60 minutes, typically weekly or bi-weekly for continuity.
Between sessions, I will invite you to explore gentle practices, journal, or bring attention to specific patterns we will then explore together. Most clients spend an additional 30-60 minutes per week on these practices, allowing the work to continue unfolding in daily life. You can adjust this based on what feels sustainable for you.
What can I expect from you as my therapist?
I’ll meet you exactly where you are – without judgment, without agenda, without rushing your process.
I create space where you can slow down enough to feel what’s actually happening in your body. Where patterns that have kept you stuck can begin to shift.
Our work will have depth, but it won’t be heavy all the time. Sometimes we’ll laugh. Sometimes the most important moment is noticing the tightness in your chest finally release.
I won’t tell you what to do. I’ll help you listen to what your body already knows.
I walk beside you. You lead the way home.
